Hi Diane, Just wanted to let you know that Ayla is doing fantastic. She is such a sweet little girl with a great personality. She is very vocal when she plays with Leo. Thought you would get a kick out of the name we gave her - Chioke's Honey Baked Ham - since she is such a ham! I will send you some pictures soon if you'd like to put them up on your site. She's getting bigger, but she's still a little thing compared to Leo right now. Everywhere we take them, people always gawk at our babies. Talk to you later!

My family (TinaMarie, Dennis, and three boys 2,8,11) found this website from the AKC link. I have to say that we are very impressed. We have been looking to adopt a rr but our first round went south since we coulnd't find anyone near us to do our home visit. We have emailed a couple breeders one in TN and one in KY and now upon stumbling to this informative and family oriented site, we will be contacting you right away. Thanks for your love of the breed and of all the dogs you raise and adopt out. - future rr family.

Everywhere I take Songede people all stop and comment on how beautiful she is. She wags her whole body, and is amazingly affectionate to anyone who will pay her any attention. She also is already at 14 weeks an amazing watchdog. When an unknown truck drove down the driveway, she bacame uber ridgeback...ALL the little hairs on her back stuck up and she created a racket! She is off to puppy bootcamp in 10 days, and when she comes back we expect she will be even more precious to our family. She is treated as a queen, sleeping in the middle if the Temperpedic, usually with her head beside one of us on the pillow. Last night was a family affair, everyone in the bed all piled up, including 2 of the 3 cats! We have created quite a nice pack, and are very much looking forward to having her brother the end of October! She is a love!

Hello Diane, I can't begin to say how excited my wife and I are about adopting one of Chioke's daughters and welcoming it into our home (bed, our couch, our cars, and lets not forget our kitchen.) Thank you so much for this opportunity, you have no idea how much this means to not just myself, but my wife has set her (the puppy) up her very own room. I am calling it the nursery. I will not be surprised if we go bed shopping and I end up buying the puppy a king size with pillows. Thanks again Diane, we are looking forward to may. Chris & Laura Sebastian

First I want to say your RR's look great! My husband and I have a gal here (Ruby)aka..Boobers.. that is now 12.6 yrs old. Loyal does not begin to describe this breed. We have had her since she was 7 weeks old and she came from a breeder out of OHIO. This gal has NEVER shown her teeth, growled at anyone. Now bark..yes,great watchdogs!!! Be prepared to feed your RR ON TIME daily, and watch it go poof! Counter surfers...a big yes! We never broke our gal of checking the goodies out on the counters but hey, she's family! She is old now, moving slow, but still our protector and will be to the end I can see.READ about this breed before you decide on one. They are hounds..hounds do interesting things..their eyesight and smell is second to none which means they can take off at a drop and you will NEVER catch them.Good idea to chip them. Our gal never got away as we were ever watchful but you will see just how powerful this dog is at play and "serious business".Learn to read their nose and you will know when a stranger or loved one is at the front door while you and your RR are in the back!Their never wrong! Good luck with your doggies the babies are SO CUTE..and your adults are fantastic looking! We have donated DNA from Ruby for Ridgeback research. Our gal survived cancer at 9yrs.I found the tumor early. So people, check your doggies regular..you never know...and get ready for the Dog of your life! We have a rescue greyhound and they have been buddies for 10 yrs now. What a sight those two.. in their younger days playing together.Power meets speed..Thank you for this forum. Best to you and your family and Ridgebacks...Sincerely,Suzz
